Having finished a 4 year course in Furniture: Design and Making, around 25 years ago, I established my own business in designing and reupholstering furniture. I wanted to create furniture which had both practical and aesthetic value. With a strong passion for colour and high quality fabrics, I can offer a bespoke, hand crafted service, whether you desire an original product or a transformation of an existing piece of furniture. I am trained in both traditional and contemporary upholstery and frame making.
My husband, Philip Heaton, also runs his own furniture making business, and in 2011 we completed an extensive building project on our family home in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, including the addition of a personal work studio. This extension enables me to work and raise two children whilst keeping a close eye on the chickens!
I hold Fabric accounts with some of the leading fabric companies, including:
Designers Guild, William Yeowood, Christian Lacroux, GP & J Baker, Baker Lifestyle, Mulberry, Ralph Lauren, Casamance, Camango, Andrew Martin, Romo, Harliquin, Pedroso & Osorio, and Linwood.
